Dual Credit Payments Are Due.

Students can still pay in person or online and they can still set up Payment Plans until Midnight on Tuesday, January 10.  Kilgore tells me, after that deadline, the classes will be dropped.  Reinstatement and Late registration fees of $45 will be added after that if the student wants to continue.

Each student present at school today, that has not paid, received a notice from the Counseling office with the amount due and the student’s Kilgore ID number. Students may login to their myKC account to view and pay their bills.

Great Semester

Featured

It’s been a great semester! WOHS students have worked hard. We have so many Seniors already accepted to colleges and universities and others are coming in daily to talk about applications. I know that many students, of all classifications, have already taken or are soon registering for ACT and SAT tests. That’s great!

In fact, here is link for a FREE ONLINE TEST PREP COURSE!  This prep course will take place Thursday at 6pm. It will be well worth your time. Remember that the next ACT test will be Feb 11th at Longview HS. The last day to register without a late fee is Jan 13th. Check out ACT.ORG to register.  WOHS will offer a 2nd ACT test on campus April 19th.

In other news, the Dual Credit History class will have new leadership for the Spring Semester. Ms. Sarah Albertson will be the instructor. She will use the same textbook. Look for her to use Blackboard for assignments this semester. Students will need their KC IDs to access to Blackboard. Come see me when classes resume for your log-in information if you’ve forgotten your information. Classes will resume JANUARY 17TH.

Seniors: Don’t for get check this link for the latest scholarships! I update the website today. You also need to check the Senior Hall for more information about scholarships and colleges. Here’s the link: ROUGHNECK READY

Thanks for all of your efforts to make this semester great. I am so blessed to work with great students, teachers, administrators and parents.

Merry Christmas White Oak Family! Keeping “Doing Right” and know that “I Believe” in each of you!

Students: You only need your driver’s license or student id card tomorrow. You’ve complete the registration process already. You can do this! Leave your phone at home, in your car anywhere but in the classroom. No cell phones tomorrow. Just a pencil and ID. You’ve got this! #ibelieve
